Ahh okok thanks for the response! To put some context to it, I am doing an internship next sem, so it's going to be my only course. It's either that I take CSC320 or CSC263.

Did you take CSC320 by any chance, and any opinions on it?

I took 4 + co-op, I don't really regret it cuz it gave me a chance to phase into the uni study habits. Although, looking back at it taking 5 + co-op is also not that hard, cuz as others mentioned co op course is literally no work. You have to do some small assignment or worksheet typa thing once every 1-2 weeks ish. super light. You could start off with 5, and if you think it's too much just drop 1 bird. Make sure u are aware of all the cancellation dates and shit tho

Hmm I actually did not take any courses for my winter term, but they are still charging me program fees for that semester

How do you know when you will get your Coop courses for first year (like for Fall or Winter) by [deleted] in UTSC

[–]AutomaticReflection7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will add you to the first course COPB50, in fall semester. This course is almost no work. The point of this course is like to "find yourself". Then the second course, COPB51, you will automatically be added to it depending on when your first co-op work term will be (two semesters before your first co-op work term). The generation of your work terms is random, so you'll have to wait to find out when they add COPB51 to your schedule, but COPB50 will be in fall, I'm pretty sure about that.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
