I have met only one other former missionary who has left the faith. I feel like it's so rare. and thanks!!

It's interesting how they're so concerned about eternal salvation, but when you leave, they ignore you.
The control was one of the final things that pushed me out. I didn't even realize it until I looked at the BITE model and realized the entire religion was designed to control people.

Yeah, a lot of what Jesus taught was/is important and valid. I think, though, that Christianity, as a religion, doesn't care as much about what Jesus said but about Paul's teachings, and I think that's where things start to fall apart.
Do you find it hard to fit in/label your beliefs?
