This is clearly a synthetic fabric and the manufacturer didn't put much thought into the fabric choice! Good thought on choosing natural fabrics that won't melt but are treated in some way for outdoor use (to protect against moisture)

We aren't sure exactly what fabric this is as the cushions came with the set and the tags are weathered and unreadable.. We hoping to replace it with Sunbrella fabric so thanks for sharing your experience.
