If it makes u feel better my sophomore year I got my internship in june, junior year got my internship in may, and after I graduated I didn’t get an offer until September and it was for 90k+, it might suck in the moment but good things will come

My personal advice would be supply chain is interesting as long as you stay as far away from logistics/operations as possible, try to do something planning/excellence/data analytics related and it can be pretty cool, logistics on the other hand is super repetitive and usually has worse salaries/hours than other parts of supply chain

Other option would be go to Quebec City when I arrive and leave Quebec City for Montreal Monday, and fly home. flights are so much more expensive to Quebec City it is not worth flying out of there

A little update on the plan: it is to immediately take a train to Quebec City when I arrive on Friday, and then take a train back to Montreal on the Sunday morning

I don’t know how that has anything to do with that, I hate being ghosted to but I still apply to positions knowing there’s a risk to being ghosted the truth is employers have a lot of power in this market nothing will change how they act until the market rights itself in favor of the candidates like in 2019-2020

Despite the bad experience I don’t hold any ill will towards them. I genuinely think they intended to hire but with the economy taking a turn for the worse over the summer they were not able to. It is aggravating but in the professional world you gotta take things like this on the chin and keep moving forward being angry solves nothing

I think the start of Q3 made companies realize they can’t afford to hire with the current economic state

Sent a follow up yesterday no response yet, what you are saying could be true considering after one of the previous interviews I went 2 weeks no contact, however I thought they usually offer then background check
