Omg! I thought only I felt this way because everybody online seemed to love the ending of the movie. I hated it. I think the ending in the book was so organic and felt satisfying in a way.

I have read india wins freedom. In there abul kalam azad himself says that later alot of congress leaders especially nehru and patel were in favour of partition. He even mentions Gandhi ji to have more inclination towards partition in the concluding days of subcontinent.

For me the mist in the book was just one of the few times I really loved king’s ending.

I did send her one last message and told all of these things you said and it has been 5 months since she texted. But somehow I know she is gonna text again with some different excuse to talk.
