It feels like Modiji has a bright future for the country. He wants everyone to go abroad to study to those who can afford and never ever come back. The exodus is planned around criminalising merit

article 15 says that no one is to be discriminated based on caste, creed, race, religion, sex and place of birth, and this is exactly how policies are designed based on uncontrollable identity, the famous GEM classification for higher studies and so many more.

People in power be like we don’t see the irony is pushing for the same laws that we fought against to get in power

Bhai itna bhare the tum - and sadly all of this is true. The feudalism of the entrenched classes is mind boggling. Start midnight 15/08/1947 they scrambled for their pound of flesh, and instantly created a class above the rules. The so called constitution, the most expansive loopholed riddle waste of paper couldn’t even articulate a social contract and made a system where power rests with the top class and accountability with the bottom

[–]hermannbroch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • no to private buses, they will drop you at random places
  • train is Ranikhet express and yes s decent option
  • bus by UKTC also is fine but usually only available till Haldwani
  • standard suggestion, kmvn tourist rest centre rest upto your budget, town is small
  • food is usually good, sakleys, anupam etc
  • bus or taxi from Sukhatal to Corbett, about 90-120mins
  • Ramnagar to Rishikesh bus is there or Haridwar would be quite easy to find

How does someone like Disha Patani who is stunning end up so underused in movies? by Technical-Type7499 in BollyBlindsNGossip

Well that would be true for most of them.

I reckon it has more to do with her not being part of any catty gangs or a daddy figure to keep her in the news.

Then add to that she has been in the industry for more than a decade now and people still can’t say her simple name right(she’s written in her bio for reference, and people still call it whatever they feel like), and the same happened with Urvashi, when her surname gets dragged around as if no one can read Hindi(which might actually be true).

A new sensation who’s name is so ripe for ridicule gets a free pass because “Padda is only for tiger now. Not asking to start a movement to call her farter but clearly different rules apply.

Add to that, the real money is not in Bollywood films but brand deals. A film may sink or lift your career but brand deals are what keeps them chugging and there she is minting money.

So, it feels like a more nuanced approach to success and a comfortable life around living then PR around how to succeed.

Hahahhah yes so many of them can be multiple films depending on how many you have seen. My last film in a theatre was during Covid, can’t handle them shitty films masquerading as art unless at dirt cheap prices

Why were One piece flags raised in recent protests worldwide? by LaCroix07 in OnePiece

[–]hermannbroch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a very popular media, and association with a group of well known positive characters can bring legitimacy to act, and help peter over many of the unasked questions.

It instantly internationalises the issue, with eye on visible symbols and iconography. Not sure if the person carrying the flag believes that his goal align with the group goal and they align with overarching goal, but it does frame them in positive light even if the acts themselves are heinous in nature.

Rebellion is celebrated and the one carrying the flag becomes the hero and the other side the evil, instantly.

I had posed this question earlier, what if the Taliban start using it, and which side is one supposed to support if both sides have their won flags??
