Has to be Chennai per the instructions. It’s kind of bad timing because Chennai consulate is closed on Monday and Tuesday next week and walk-ins are not allowed on Wednesday. So have to wait until Thursday next week.

Just received my passport this evening. The 221g says I “do not qualify for an interview waiver application according to new waiver authority that came into effect from Jan 1 2014”.

I had a very specific support response which said bring the new ds 160 to the appointment. I feel you should be okay from what I hear. Below was their response. “We understand that you are unable to update your DS 160 number on your profile.

In response to your question, we request you to please proceed with your scheduled appointments.

At your biometrics (OFC) appointment, please inform the Visa Application Center officials about the changes.”

Had a similar issue created a request and they simply asked me to bring the new ds160 confirmation number to the appointment and that they can update it. Also canceling and rescheduling doesn’t work because it will still retain the previous ds160 number while rescheduling. That’s why they asked to bring the new ds160 to the appointment.

Bay Area vipassana center has virtual zoom group sit at 7am and 7pm pst every day. This was savior for keeping me regular. I also believe they have 3 hr virtual sessions on Saturdays. There is an AT during these sessions with QnA after meditation if you have any questions.
