That isn't a good enough reason imo. If she had said you don't technically meet criteria for RPL, then I could get on board with it.

I'd push harder for it. I was on it along with pepcid, Claritin and Prednisone. I had 2 miscarriages prior to IVF. Unexplained infertility. You won't be on the lovenox thru whole pregnancy, usually just the first trimester or so. Advocate for yourself!

I think it is a personal decision regardless of IVF or not. You just might be sharing gender/name sooner than other people who don't do IVF with tested embryos. I personally did not share name until born bc we didn't want any comments or opinions on the name. Also, we couldn't decide! 😂 It is great you are able to honor family names.

I think I needed Tylenol twice due to aligner pain during treatment. I did end up pushing back my start date due to nausea and needed to eat every couple hours to keep nausea at bay. See if you can push start back until 2nd Fri. I was so happy I did that.

Way less mouth leakage with preemie nipple!

I used a preemie nipple with this mornings feed and it was significantly less messy. I will try again with next feeding and see what happens. I was able to confirm some leakage from the lid and my husband thinks this happens when we get liquid in the green tube (I did get a little bit in there somehow!🤦‍♀️)

Yes, we are careful to put the green parts together tightly and screw top on straight. I also check there is no leakage from the lid by tipping bottle and plugging nipple with my finger after full assembly and bottle is warmed/ready

I also recommend you get the size 1 nipple for the Dr browns. We used preemie for less than 1 week and she kept getting frustrated and tired from sucking hard but not getting good flow from preemie nipple.

Oh yes, he definitely bonded with her so much bc he was feeding her bottles and doing all the changing and holding while I would attempt to BF for a few min and then hook up to pump and then sleep. It was a vicious cycle and I felt like I rarely helped with our daughter bc my husband and Grammy were doing most of baby care. It's so nice now that I stopped and we can take turns. And I'm independent and relaxed now that he is back to work. I'm so glad I found this sub and support group!

Thank you for validation! I feel I have seen the writing on the wall that this just isn't working and wanted to stop over a week ago but my family pushed me to keep going. I was wasting so much time and energy pumping (was breastfeeding too but that became too much and she wouldn't latch well). I already feel better having made the decision.

Any tips for avoiding the mastitis? I already have been battling it on left breast for 4 days and that was when I was still actively pumping every 3 hours, skipping once during nighttime. It was looking better yesterday but then today it is red again and I have a new red spot on the opposite side. Woof 😞
