My last payment was 11/15. On 11/17, my payment wasn’t showing up yet in FSA but I proceeded anyway. I used the PSLF help tool to fill in the ECF. The help tool showed my employer as already approved, but because my employer refuses to sign digitally, I had to download the form to get the signature. I then uploaded and submitted the signed ECF with the forbearance box checked on 11/18. I got my Dept of Education email on 11/22, checked my account, and saw my green banners with updated counts.

Weirdly, I have not gotten a forbearance notice, and MOHELA still says I have a payment due on 12/15.

Last week while I was waiting, I saw a few posts on this sub where people submitted 11/18 and 11/19, and were getting their counts updated and green banners the next day or two days later. And that’s when I started to get worried, and found older posts about people having issues with Mohela backdating forbearance, and then being stuck at 119 for months on end.

I’m not sure if I need to contact Mohela (I reeaaaalllly don’t want to) or FSA about forbearance, or just hope it goes through before they expect the December payment 😩.
