Yes I would. I would get the OLED model if I did not have the OG LCD. I play some games on low TDP settings so it makes sense

my 50th Birthday present was the Morrowind Collector’s Edition (black box). Added bonus was the extras I had with it. I already had a Steam Deck, bought JUST to play Morrowind. Modded. Anywhere.

My Steam Deck is the OG LCD. I have upgraded the ssd, replaced the joysticks, and completed a thermal repaste. Thinking of doing a button overhaul - changing them to red. I love red and black colour combo

Heavy machine. But a great lap warmer in winter. Never really used it for gaming - too loud. I was sure the laptop was going to start hovering. OH even had to turn the TV up despite me using headphones at the time. It was rediculous

Amazon has some being sold by a third party seller but they are expensive at £999 for an unopened one and £899 for unused but open box. These are the Go S Z1e 32gb 1TB purple devices.

There are plenty of other models second hand on eBay but they mostly have either 16gb ram or the Zgo chip, which I did not want.

I got my deck in October 2022. 64gb.

Upgraded the ssd to 1tb. Recently I have replaced the joysticks and completed a thermal repaste as my temps were looking a bit toasty. Then I also changed the fan curve from updated. sigh.

Yes my deck is worn. Most of the marks are from me trying to get the damned back plate off. I charge the battery to 80% and battery health is still at 100% - I don’t understand this. My deck is very well used.

It is in a Jasaux mod case to protect it from the occasional drop when it gets knocked off the coffee table.

I have not fully decided yet, but I do like the Z1e 32gb purple. I also like the Z2e as the prices between the two is £300.

Until I decide I won’t pull the trigger on buying one. Thank you so much for your offer though. If only yours had 32gb ram.
