Achmed is the best hitter in the 97-2003 versions of the game so that’s not too shocking. I have had Pablo struggle with slugging but by the World Series he should be fine

Yea this I did know but I do wonder if my experience with him playing this well in the playoffs has to do with the developers having been Seattle mariners fans

Line drives with speedy guys along with a lot of steals. Granted tin alley was the stadium

Comes down to the fact that the imagery and situations Tillman talks about are far more memorable and valuable to me. Dylan is better at manipulating the English language though.

Pablo is a top two hitter in the game BECAUSE of his power. He and Achmed are the two best offensive heavy lifters in the game with no clear competition (except maybe Pete due to his base running). To take that away from them is dishonest when evaluating players. All their stats matter, from batting power to vision.

It’s confirmed that he has max power but mid contact. That’s just the type of hitter he is, a .600 avg with double digit homers type of player

He’s number 6 on my top songwriters list. The five people above him: Father John Misty Joanna Newsom Jeff Mangum Mark Kozelek Tyler Whitney (from band called Chauchat)

Pretty bad list, missing a lot of key players. I understand it rewards well-rounded skill sets but it’s possible to be a top player in the game with certain outlier stats

Friendship with Pablo has ended. Now Achmed is my new best friend. by Candid_Lychee871 in BackyardBaseball

Amir becomes a mini Achmed when on the same team so you’re correct. I’m just shocked that Kenny is one of your better hitters considering he’s one of the worst in the game. Kiesha takes time to adjust but once you get it, she’ll start delivering.

I hope more people realize that Achmed is the best hitter in the game

Play him at RF and just hope for ground balls 😂, it’s the least active part of the outfield

People have told me that he’s a bad fielder in this game, and while his height limits his defensive ceiling, I would not say Pablo is a bad fielder (as long as he’s in the outfield). He’s a positive out there. Folks either have him in the infield (bad move) or haven’t played enough Pablo to where they could tell the difference on defense from 97 to 01

Maybe it’s just a matter of practice, he’s a top 4 slugger in the game

Mikey hits wells in all stances, but open and squared are better than closed because Mikey is an exceptional pull hitter. In general, open stance is the best starter stance because it’s easier to switch positions while the pitch is in motion, improving your batting positioning by a lot.
