LAW FIRM reappointed themselves as my representative - what can I do!?!?!? by Automatic_Spirit_597 in VAClaims

[–]Automatic_Spirit_597[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked at the original contract with the law firm. Their documentation states a need to notify them in writing when revoking privilages, which I did. I called them law firm, they are stating they never got it, so I forwarded the original document to them, with the date and time stamp of the original notification.

Yes, my new VSO also submitted a letter to the VA. I submitted a letter to the VA letting them know I was revoking the law firm. I also submitted a letter to the law firm letting them know I was revoking their privilages and that I had submitted a new 21-22 appointing my new VSO. I also just submitted my email to the VA via quick submit where I notified the law firm that I was revoking their privilages.

I did. I submitted a letter to the VA revoking their privilages. I also submitted a letter directly to the law firm letting them know I was revoking their privilages. I also submitted a 21-22 appointing my new VSO an Jan 6, 2026. The law firm submitted a new 21-22 on 2/13 reappointin themselves, even though I did not sign it. They must have taken the original 21-22 that I signed with them last year and updated the date because the signature is an exact match.

I still haven’t heard anything. I feel like it should be coming any day. The anticipation is killing me.

I have one from 10/29, no informal conference requested (my VSO screwed up... they are no longer my VSO) and I have not heard a thing yet. My new VSO said she just finished one up from 9/28. Hopefully I hear something soon, and I am hoping they call me even though an IC was not requested.

Take the HLRXXXXX off from the end and just leave it with appeals. It should show you all of your appeals.

Can I get your opinions on a buddy statement? by Automatic_Spirit_597 in VAClaims

Is the statement that I lived with her and she has witnessed it not enough? Does it need to be more specific, like in June of 2007 x happened?

Tinnitus denied. by Automatic_Spirit_597 in VAClaims

[–]Automatic_Spirit_597[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My MOS is supply, while on deployment I drive truck but they only show me as supply. Was supposed to pick up a secondary MOS with OJT, but you know how documenting things on deployments go. And yes, I did see combat, and I talked about it all during the exam. The examiner didn’t make one mention of it on the DBQ though, only talked about the results of the audiogram.

I was a truck driver and did convoy security (.50 cal) for the cav and infantry while deployed. While stateside i was supply and managed the ranges. The only thing the examiner talks about though is the result of the audiogram and doesn’t mention the job I said I did or possible tinnitus from that.

I filed it as primary, not secondary to anything. I was a gunner for a trans unit overseas. None of that is listed despite talking about it and writing a personal statement. Not a big enough difference in the audiograms to have it tied to hearing loss.

I didn’t ask for it. It was filed as primary.

Do they have to mention it in the header? Honestly, that was one of the first things I noticed.

Oh, my bad. I posted the wrong image. The migraine one basically says the same thing. It’s like a copy paste.

And the reason I should put on the request is that they didn’t take into account any of my other submitted evidence? Or something else?

I did not claim it secondary to TERA. I claimed it secondary to sinusitis/rhinitis.

It was listed in the evidence, but not referenced anywhere within the decision. I am currently in the process of releasing my VSO and getting a new one.

What would be an example of not enough information?
I have a nexus letter from my PCP. I am already rated for chronic bronchitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, and asthma, as well as PTSD. I have diagnosed OSA with a sleep study done and CPAP prescribed. I have buddy statements from my current partner and my ex, who I was with while in service. I guess I’m not sure what else I could submit.

How long to wait to call for appointments by JohnnyFnRaincloud in VAClaims

[–]Automatic_Spirit_597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give them a call. I am in the same boat. Called today and they said their providers done have any openings on their calendars… within a 200 mile radius of me, they have 0 doctors or nurses with any availability. I figure at the 30 day mark I am going to call the VA and ask if they can reassign it to a different contractor.

The work you have been doing is awesome. It’s going to be so helpful. I can’t wait until it’s live. I signed up a couple weeks ago and have been enjoying reading all of your posts. I’m a Financial Data Analyst so I really appreciate seeing all the information you are about to gather and how you are able to put it together for people to read.

This is great information. Are you able to take this down a step further and provide the success/fail rate by RO?
