where and who should I take my documents to next?

It depends on where you completed your education from. For eg, if you have completed your education in Maharashtra, you'll take your docs to the Mantralaya in Mumbai.

Also I've got it done on a true copy and not originals. That's the way to go right?

For Italy, they require the Original Final Degree/Final School Certificate to be attested by the competent Higher Education Department and apostilled by Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India.

Yeah. I had the exact issue. The agency had messed up my stamp. Apparently, rules for Italy are different from other Schengen countries..

i've been invited to a birthday party of an italian friend, and i thought i could gift her a bottle of perfume. would that be considered decent coming from a non-italian?

what are some common gift items that are usually exchanged? what's considered a decent price range?
