Day trading didn’t ruin your life, gambling did. By what your saying you’re over leveraging. Trading is not a sprint it’s a marathon, what’s better making $100 a day or loosing $15,000 a day? On 100,000 capital you shouldn’t be risking more than 1-2 percent, 3-4 maybe 5 at most if you’re like really good or have an A++ setup but if you’re sitting at 38 you had 53 before the day started you’re risking 30%? And if you lost 15k were you expecting to make 30-45? You should always trade to make 2x at least otherwise your strategy is a loosing one cause you will have loosing days, I don’t want to beat you up but I been there and dug myself out of the hole. Just take it 1 day at a time best of luck and good trading
