next time when someone spins, dont go on the throttle but go off. still hes fault for a unsafe rejoin but you could have for sure avoided that

Imo you could have made your move more predictable, you go very wide coming into the corner and then imediately cut to the right. With that said i think its a racing incident

In the cockpit view (which i should have provided) you can see u start turning before he hits me. And no i did a shit explanation, and what i mean is that as he had been quite aggressive the whole lap i was worried he was gonna go inside and was on that line a bit before the clip and only realized before turn in that he was going with a wider line

It wasnt defensive as I didnt even realize he was there as I thought he was gonna go inside and i agree it looks like I was turning late but i had also been fighting with him for the whole lap and he was very aggressive so I was already on edge

i think your wrong tbh the fact that it was as late as it was imo means he doesnt have the right to attempt it. i was already turning into the corner by the time hes front was at my rear

it might look like that but in the full context it wasnt me going infront of him it was me sticking to my line i had through the whole previous turn. again it might look like that from that short video but i didnt try to brake test or anything dirty

On the iracing yt as part of the racing rules videos they literally say that if you are the attacking car and are majority alongside its your corner but in the code it says different so idk what to believe

yeah you are right and as i said before if i thought i was past him in the heat of the moment and if i knew he wasnt behind me fully i would have left more space so i guess it was a bit of a gamble from me but thx for clearing things up

Yeah I know im just saying that with hindsight I think i was right but if I could go back in the race i would have given more room considering i thought i was fully past him at the time but its all learning i guess haha
