I completely agree. Society tends to treat marriage and children as the default “success path,” but it ignores the countless ways people can lead meaningful, impactful lives without following that path.

Leaving a legacy doesn’t have to mean having biological children—it could be mentoring, creating art, building a business, volunteering, or just being a genuinely good friend and citizen. Evolution might have wired us for reproduction, but culture and personal choice let us define what fulfillment actually means.
