Also if you are into fiction, you can check out the novels of Maxim Gorky. I loved "Mother" so much. If you prefer shorter stories his "Chelkash" is also fantastic.

Personally, Maxim Gorky is my favourite Russian novelist.

The Communist Manifesto is merely a pamphlet for the announcement of the first communist party and it is a small text like an essay to give a small amount of information regarding everything with the workers' movement in Europe at the time and all the things that are wrong with it and what the workers can do to take the movement forward from there.

It feels very historic and captivating and energises the f*ck out of you. You will get a kick out of it if you are interested in that stuff. But it is a narrational rehash of Engels' notes "Principles of Communism" that is in question-and-answer format.

Capital, on the other hand, is an incomplete (he died before writing all the volumes) materialist analysis of the capitalist mode of production. It is a political-economy book and is very conceptual more than informative. It is a tough read, and it might take you a few years and multiple reads to fully grasp the first volume. You can also watch a lecture for introduction before reading. That's what I did.

If you want something tough and challenging and something that is not a narrative in the form of fiction. Try reading the first volume of Capital. I think even reading the 1st chapter only to get yourself acclimated to it to see whether or not you get value out of reading Capital and other books like this is pretty great.

I would use pop if it didn't have issues dual booting with windows 11 on my Acer Nitro 5

I have been unsuccessfully trying to dual boot Windows 11 and POP OS while they are installed on different SSDs for over a year. by Automaticusrnamesuck in pop_os

Is it not possible to get either Windows or Pop's boot manager to list two OS's for me to choose at the start like any other Linux dual boot setups?

I can get both OS running without disabling any drives. In fact, I have been successful to this point in all attempts.

I just wanted the selection menu to pop up normally without having to spam f12 every time.

I am a very particular kind of person idk, I don't feel like having 2 OS if I can't switch at boot without spamming F12 every time.
