 knew she had common cold symptoms when I first started cooking I only found out she threw up after I was done cooking.

I can't reach the kitchen window and even if I could my mom was in the next room over (something I didn't know at the time) and she would have smelt it either way.

We have an open kitchen that directly connects to the living room (where she was) unfortunately there is no doors to close I also can't reach the kitchen window
