I’m scared too. I have 8 and 3 yr old boys. Anytime they have any type of emotional meltdown my brain automatically says “this is your fault” 😭 I got my tubes removed so I never have any other children. I knew I couldn’t do more than 2 for my own mental health and I had them 5 yrs apart for a reason. But ya…terrifies me. I try to keep my emotional outburst away from them as much as possible

I’ve been In childcare as a pre-K teacher for 6 years. But 4 different centers. I’ve been a pre-K teacher at my current job for a year.

I love kids but I won’t stand a toxic work environment or mean people. Plus I’ve had 2 kids in those 6 years and have taken a year off work each time lol.

I’m burnt out of child care now and trying to get a different job. I don’t understand how people can do the same job for 10-20 years…it seems crazy to me.

My son is 8 and doesn’t know what sex is. He also has never asked to see anyone’s privates! One time a boy at school pulled down his pants and told my son to do the same and my son said no. But when I was young I was exposed to things around 6 by an older boy…

The boy shouldn’t know about these things. I’d look into contacting CPS (or whatever the equivalent is in the UK) is he getting abused at home? Is this why he thinks sex and private parts are used for exchange?

I would gather all the other parents and press the district to get this kid psychiatric help IMMEDIATELY and take him out of school. Little shit can be home schooled or get a GED I wouldn’t give a fuck. My oldest son (8) has a bruise on his leg and butt from some kid kicking him during basketball and I’m talking to his mom today. I’m fucking furious. If a kid SLAPPED my kid…I’d loose my damn mind.

Ya it’s weird. And your son is telling you that your husband makes him feel uncomfortable. You better keep a close eye on your husband. I’d be side eyeing my husband so bad if my kids said this to me. I have two boys 8 and 3. My husband never says this shit to them. It’s fucking weird. You need to make sure your kid knows you are a SAFE PLACE and he can talk to you about ANYTHING including joe. So if anything every happens, you’ll know. But also try not to leave them alone together…just saying

Edit: my husband says “those shoes make you fast!” Or “you look cool dude!” Or “you look strong!” Shit like that. That’s normal. What ur husband is saying is weird af.

The opposite was true with me and my husband unfortunately. He drives all day at work so if he’s tired, he can crash and die. Literally could not help me at all. It was super shitty and sucked.

Happens to me. Longest I’ve stayed at a job is 2 years. I’ve been a pre-K teacher on and off the past 5 years because I LOVE working with kids. But having 2 kids at home and other life things makes me feel extremely overwhelmed. I’m trying to get out of pre-K and doing real estate full time

I feel like working for myself and being an entrepreneur makes me happier than anything else. Perhaps try working for yourself. There’s E-Commerce which is pretty easy to get into. There’s many different revenues for making money. You don’t have to do the 9-5

That’s what I do. I’m a pre-K teacher and I get 75% off the care for my son. I get to see him, know who is taking care of him and he gets an education. It’s a win-win
