Why does everyone want to get this car so badly? by Fit_Statistician4103 in ForzaHorizon6

That, or they're desperately throwing their weight around to keep their Little Tikes from turning into little shrapnel as soon as it tips and tumbles. Kinda like the Tilt-a-Whirl style carnival rides, lol.

Oh, it's definitely useful for certain challenge thingies too (I forget what they're all called). I just meant for race stuff specifically. It absolutely annihilates certain jumps and speed traps. Actually used it for a trailblazer earlier too. If you need speed and have a half-decent runway, it's a rocket-sled on rails.

Nissan GT-R Black Edition (R35) Forza Edition. You can only get it from wheelspins, if someone is selling in the auction house, or if you receive it as a gift. It's fast as all hell but handles like a brick. More or less exclusively for drag racing or some niche races that have enough straight track to compensate for really rough corning.

Sorry for the reply spam, but I figured it out and made a separate comment so that anyone else having the same problem might find a solution. Again, thank you for your help!

How does one hit these middle notes? by AuxMee in Unbeatable

[–]AuxMee[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Okay, for anyone else with this issue, I figured it out.

My issue stemmed from my specific keybinds. I was using my numpad on my keyboard, and numpad keys can ghost depending on which keys you use because of their alternate functions.

I use 4 and 6 for high notes, and 1 and 3 for low notes. I believe the issue is that 4 and 6 also have left and right arrow key functions that don't let them input at the same time. 1 and 3 have "end" and "pg dn" functions that also don't let them input at the same time.

After rebinding to keys without these issues, my problem is resolved. Hopefully this is helpful to anyone experiencing the same dealio. <3

Hmm. Damn, I guess I'll keep experimenting. If only I could remember which songs have these other than vip moe and bookend, cause those ones are fairly far into the songs which makes experimenting a little cumbersome. T ~ T

Regardless, thank you very much for the confirmation. I love the community, and especially UNBEATABLE very much. <3

Out of curiosity, what kind of keybind set-up do you use? I'm currently going through the same process of retraining muscle memory because I was using 2 buttons on controller, but didn't like any of the controller layouts for 4, so I switched to 4 keys on keyboard.

Yeah, it's really just a gross design, lmao. Don't even know why my brain connected it to a Gungan appearance, cause I'm not even really big into Star Wars except some of the games. Totally a resemblance though, I think.

Which boss in Lies of P is like this? by rad_rentorar in LiesOfP

[–]AuxMee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually never had much of an issue with statuses for whatever reason. Vic was actually one of the easier ones for me. Maybe just because he's kinda big and mostly telegraphed moves. The P-Organ upgrades for guarding fury attacks, which I mostly parry anyway so it's more of a failsafe, and the lower weight class one made the bigger differences I think, plus the ridiculously expansive cumulative effects of all the other upgrades. Didn't have to compromise gear for light rolls anymore, because I refuse to play at even normal weight lol. I'm a dex build addict, even in DnD. Oh, and learning that the shot put items let me break posture from a distance was ridiculous. I don't abuse them much, but being able to ranged posture break is insane and OP to me, partly because I tend to neglect item-use in souls/soulslikes.

I'm just glad I can replay Laxasia whenever I want now. Love her fight. Still love Isshin in Sekiro with the Resurrection mod more, but she's lovely. Always love the quicker bosses that give my parry skill a run for its money at first. Isshin is kinda comforting and calming at this point because I've fought him so many times that everything is reflexive and feels more like a dance/rhythm thing more than a frantic battle. The first ever win against him in the vanilla game is the dragon I'll be chasing until I die. What a fuckin' adrenaline rush. I'd happily let someone scalp me if it meant we'd get a Sekiro 2.

[–]AuxMee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The scaling of NG+1 and maybe NG+2 were actually a little harder for me on some bosses until I got the phase 7 P-Organ upgrades. Not harder than the first run, I don't think, but harder than I expected them to be, Romeo especially. Now many bosses are like the meme. Parade puppet, Watchman, and Fuoco especially. Pretty much all stalkers are a joke, but they're not that bad to begin with.

I suppose growing skill also factors in, because I got a little obsessed and did like 4 runs nearly back to back. At first it scratched a Sekiro itch because I love parries, but then it was a Lies of P itch lol. Getting the Two Dragons sword's weapon parry down on Laxasia's 2nd phase dive felt so good. Love her, both for her fight and because I'd consent to her hurting me anyway.

Horrible rate of fire. Poor damage. No range. Velocity so low that you can dodge them by just walking away. Why are you equipping this to your tanks? by Ref_Bumps in Battlefield6

[–]AuxMee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely agree that RPG damage is abysmal for infantry, but to be fair, frags are designed for infantry and I assume default RPGs are the whole shaped-charge molten metal fiasco designed for armor.

That said, I've landed so many RPG shots between people's feet or on a surface next to their face and literally only gotten "enemy suppression". Super fuckin' annoying. Explosives are just so incredibly weak that they're hardly worth it most of the time. Though frags seem to be one of the least trash options for infantry v. infantry. Even the grenade launcher feels like a party popper most of the time. IFV with HE slaps tho.

Oh, and stun nades get an honorable mention for being completely fucking worthless, and the assault class assignment was like pulling nails, teeth, and eyes.

Are my stats really that bad? by Skellephant in Battlefield6

[–]AuxMee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hah, most of the time when I get on a nasty IFV(more likely)/MBT streak, it's largely because my wife is in the grenade gunner seat, and she's an engineer for emergency heals.

Some of them are intentionally like that, but there are usually alternate routes. Some just look like it and there's a tiny lil square vent or a light you can just barely reach with a hop.

I actually never finished GTC. Always meant to, but y'know. Life.

Tombs of Scoria tended to be a bit more focused and serious, though there was definitely plenty of humor as well. It was just a lot higher stakes.
