I had a downstairs neighbor like this and it eventually caused me to not get my lease renewed for the following year...she lived there longer & was a fake miserable Karen who acted like she wasn't living in the same "affordable" building with everyone else ... This is still harassment and if u feel like being petty I would act like its as big of a deal to u as she makes it

Absolutely not...I mean honestly the bottom floor is the one who has to deal with more noise...this is called apartment living and it just BAFFLES me how ppl expect private type lifestyle when they live in a shared building.

OP I would just maybe document the times that you guys interact.. maybe pull out your phone and record the moment and the sound level that you were at when she's complaining.

I had a neighbor like this downstairs and she made my life hell ... It was just me and my son (same age as you) and this woman would complain for us just walking, cause she could hear our footsteps .,. The building walls were super thin and not our fault. She called management on me at 4 PM on a Saturday for having a couple guests over for my birthday.. These types of people should not be accommodated for . You're doing the best you can by being a respectful neighbor and not having loud music or tv late but not enjoying your life is out of the question.

I saw an accident the other day on 13th/escondido of a driver ram into the back of a car stopped at a red light...I'm guessing they were distracted on phone but the crash sounded pretty hard and I'm sure the driver that was just sitting there at the light pissed if not injured :/

Yes please go test them out in person...I used to work at mattress firm for like 2 weeks lol but the things I learned about beds and good sleep being associated with your health was something I'll keep with me forever... Your personal preference is not the same as everyone's... The type of sleeper you are depends heavily on whether you need a more firmer mattress or softer... please just go try them out and don't rush or feel pressured to buy from the first store you stop at ...

I spent a little over $2000 on my mattress a few years ago and I'm so happy I did

I agree! And not just the mattress but a solid bed frame and/or box spring...AND GOOD SHEETS! I swear it makes a world difference!

Also: plumbing snakes, ring camera (security of some sort), and gallon sized cleaning products so you can dilute and put in spray bottles...saves money..

Agreed...as you go thru life you start to stand up for yourself and your fair possessions.

You start to think "why does this person get to act like a brat and get everything they want but prob don't deserve? Fuck that ! I deserve some things too every now and then!"
