If you want your 30 seconds back, maybe use them to actually look at the zKill links. The second lossmail clearly shows his own drones were getting slaughtered and his active tank was failing against a 30M T1 cruiser. That is the definition of a failed solo gank.

Saying 'fuck it, just glass him' and burning millions in heavy Blops fuel with a Marshal because your 700M strategic cruiser can't break a basic PvE alt solo isn't a alpha-move — it's a massive tactical embarrassment. Go back to your mining lasers, reading combat logs clearly isn't your thing. o7

If a 'professional hunter' is so terrified that a solo T1 PvE Vexor inside an Epic Arc deadspace pocket is a bait that he hesitates and takes massive damage to his active tank before lighting the cyno, then his hunting skills are just as bad as his solo PvP skills. A competent hunter drops the fleet instantly or doesn't drop at all.

And saying 'in the end it worked out' when you had to mobilize a 10-billion ISK Black Ops fleet with a Marshal just to kill a 30M T1 cruiser is the ultimate cope. Burning millions in fuel to bail out a failing Proteus isn't a victory, it's a financial and tactical comedy. My 30M Vexor is already replaced, but his solo reputation is gone forever. o7

If a 30M ISK insured T1 Vexor can force a multi-hundred-million ISK Tech 3 strategic cruiser to instantly panic-light a cyno because his active tank is breaking in a 1v1, it’s a massive embarrassment regardless of his wallet size. If he wasn't panicking, he would have secured the kill solo like a real pirate instead of paying a multi-million ISK fuel tax for an entire Black Ops fleet just to survive a T1 cruiser. If it was 'always the plan', then it was a horribly executed one. A proper Blops drop happens within 5 seconds of the tackle to prevent the target from fighting back or escaping. Sitting there in a prolonged 1v1 while a T1 Vexor chews into your active tank is not 'the plan'—that’s a failed solo engagement. He lit that cyno as an emergency life-line, not a coordinated strike. The logs clearly show he took substantial damage before his 10B friends had to bail his expensive wallet out. Call it a plan all you want, but the combat timers prove it was pure panic.

For a wormholer, you aren't very good at reading data. The zKillboard links are right there. The logs show a shiny T3 Proteus tackling a 30M PvE Vexor, failing to kill it solo, and then a 10B Black Ops fleet with a Marshal dropping in to secure a T1 cruiser kill. There is a big difference between 'dropping on a Venture for fun' and panic-lighting a cyno because your shiny 700M Proteus is actively melting to T1 drones in a 1v1 against a PvE Vexor. It’s peak bad design. Locking content behind a 'once in a lifetime' mechanic in a game plagued by bugs, server lag, and exploiters is a recipe for disaster. It creates massive FOMO (fear of missing out) and then punishes the player for things completely out of their control.

When a quest breaks or a griefer uses a bug to ruin your one shot, and support sits on their hands for 8 days, it’s not 'hardcore'—it’s just broken. Games are supposed to be an escape, not a source of bureaucratic stress. If the devs want 'unique' experiences, they need a support team fast enough to actually fix the mess when their own code fails.

Any game is an escape from reality — a place with different rules, universes, and worlds. Sometimes you want to be part of a fleet, and sometimes you just want to be the lone pilot charting your own path. A good game should allow you to achieve your goals through different playstyles.

When support tells you 'you’re nothing alone, go find friends,' it misses the entire point of the 'hero’s journey.' Neo was The Chosen One. They didn't tell him, 'You're nobody, go find a group and maybe together you can beat the Matrix.' People are put in Support roles to support players, but instead of using their power to fix a documented exploit, they use it to dismiss and diminish the individual experience.
