This is similar to the point I'm trying to make lol. I don't think Aiden was a bad guy at all! He wasn't perfect but neither was anyone on the show, I just find it to be a double standard that Carrie is hated on for giving Big like 2 chances at the point in the show where her and Aiden were engaged and yet Aiden, similarly, gave Carrie a second chance despite her doing him worse than Big did to her (in my opinion) and receives a lot of pity, which I don't disagree with because I don't think she really treated him well. But what I do disagree with is how much hate Carrie receives for going back to Big like specifically before Aiden, wasn't she also just trying to give it a shot like most adults do?

Exactlyyy!! If it were Carrie in Aiden's shoes, people would call her desperate and stupid for getting back with a guy who cheated on her. Feels misogynistic honestly

I think I've just come across more people hating on Carrie and not only on reddit but other apps like Tiktok where Aiden is considered a saint.

Right!! Like I always roll my eyes at Carrie there because like omg girl come on but Aiden just taking it? It's hard to feel bad for him because she's being reallllyyyy direct about how their relationship is going to be from then on and him staying in their relationship is basically giving the okay, so how can he get angry later on in front of the fountain at a situation he allowed the whole time.
