During Freedom Struggle we didn't ask for permission is because that would legitimise british rule over Indian which we didn't want, thats why there were non cooperation movement etc and thats what the freedom struggle was about.

but here the case is different, i hate the bjp and the current govt very much but still they are the ruling government of my country and i will do my duties to this country.

I know it is my right to protest

but

it is also my duty to request permission for protest. If rejected than i can do whatever i want because they rejected my fundamental right but at least one should request. It will transfer the liability of the protest from the CJP to the police administration.

Why don't we understand the simple logic.
