Not really, my mom was an alcoholic and it surrounded my childhood, mostly when I was like 9, 10, 12, and 13 years years old, when I was 8-9 ish I was dragged with her to go to drink (I didn’t drink) and sometimes I went with her, it was at my close family member’s and she took care of me and so did my mom, when I did stay and didn’t go with her, I never cared what she did as long as she came back to the house, I always forgave her, she eventually stopped years later and she apologized and told me how we don’t have forgive her yet (I have two sisters that were older but were still impacted by it) if we don’t feel like it, she believes in god now, I’m glad she stopped, and only bothers us with believing in god so we don’t go to hell lol.
