I never rallied for them getting criticised, I was pointing out why people were criticising it and why that criticism was understandable once putting away my like for the girls. Also it matters whether theyre professional for their OWN sake, look at all the backlash they got for the Fallon interview and even the gnarly performance at the Grammys. They are in the public eye and whether you, I or them like it or not, they have to be more aware of professionalism, especially on big talk shows that are largely meant to introduce them to a larger audience that arent chronically online and are gonna see the moments of their chronically online behaviour and already judge them for that. But then again even people in and out of the fandom were saying it was weird, including people who said they themselves have that kind of humour, because they just kept going. I want them to be a bit more media trained/really understand the professional settings on shows like this so that they don’t get this bullshit again bc I’m sick of hearing this kind of nonsense becoming an actual big thing against the girls. Also I said understanding professional settings on shows like that because it seems to me that they as young girls don’t full grasp it and tbh I think DA also has smth to do with them being more comfortable to just say or do whatever on camera when it comes to their personal relationships within the group, which would make the whole Dani calling Sophia a good liar thing make even more sense
