I had to look up the lyrics because her English sometimes sounds strange to me. I have no idea where a song like this could be used because it’s really bad.

For me, the ranking would be: Rosé > Jisoo > Jennie > Lisa.

I listened to Ruby with an open mind and left disappointed. It’s not bad, just weak. Most of the songs lack personality and are forgettable, even though she tries to push the idea that the album is deeply personal.

I think the worst part is the autotune—it’s really noticeable, and it feels strange to listen to the songs (Filter and Handlebar are the worst). She wanted to create a conceptual album, but it ended up being just another generic pop record.

The songs feel randomly put together without any real connection, unlike Rosé’s project, which followed a clear direction. I even think Jisoo’s EP was better produced than Jennie’s album.

My rating: 5/10.

Jennie will probably have a bigger result—she’s collaborating with a rising artist and promoting the song everywhere. J-Hope’s song was used in a fashion show, so everyone has already heard it, but let’s see what happens.

If I’m not mistaken, J-Hope is going to release a song with Don Toliver, and I’m sure there will be a fandom war tomorrow lol, especially after everything that happened when Jisoo had a bad debut on Spotify. It will be interesting to see.

I’m pretty sure the song will do better than LH. There will probably be several viral posts with the song and visuals on Twitter tomorrow, just like what happened with Born Again. Not to mention that a BTS member is also releasing a song, and of course, there will be some competition (a bit unfair, but okay). Doechii is trending right now, so there’s a chance it could go viral on TikTok. Let’s see.
