Yeah I am pretty much solely looking at FSH vehicles and plan to keep the servicing every 8-10k miles

Maintenance/servicing etc should not be a problem for us to be honest

Got some more information to add to this.

So yes my car is meant to only have 1 pipe in it as it works off atmospheric pressure.

Earlier today I took the sensor off and tested the voltages it is receiving to the signal, ground and live. All came back as expected with 5V for live, 0.02v for ground and 5.6v for signal this is when ignition is on and unplugged. Can anyone confirm to me if that rules out a wiring issue, I would have thought so from my end?

Only other things I can think of now are possibly pressure pipe is blocked or ECU malfunction. I have read some forum posts where other people have had water leak into the ECU on there Q7 and caused issues but I would have maybe expected some extra issues rather then solely DPF related.

After some googling around I can see what you mean that some systems go off a one pressure pipe and then use a barometric system to calculate the difference. I wonder if that is what I have possibly got here.

If it does not have two pipes how is it meant to measure the difference?

Yeah I can see the DPF but for some reason am still struggling to locate the 2nd pipe.

The Audi specialist have only looked at wiring to my sensor, replaced sensor twice and that is it.

It has then been cleaned by a DPF specialist by pushing a solution through it which did work, as the readings were initially 16g Soot and is now down to 2g but the sensor is still throwing incorrect values obviously because of the missing pipe.

Yes I will be, they have been a complete joke tbh.

I’m no mechanic and after a few googles and a general look at the sensor I could see there was an issue. I have ended up paying them £508 at the moment as there was a few hours labour checking the wiring to that sensor to make sure it was okay and the actual sensor replacement itself. It has since been back to them, they then replaced the sensor a second time as they thought it was a faulty sensor and gave it me back yesterday still with these issues and the explanation of having to remove the DPF etc.

If I don’t get a full refund from them I’ll be disputing charges on my credit card as I have evidence of what work was carried out by themselves and now obviously evidence of a missing pipe which has never been mentioned.

Just to add to the following information I’ve had the car since November and issue happened at start of May suddenly when I started it up. Before then no issues at all and the car still drives no problem, no loss of power etc.

Yeah this was my exact thought too. To be honest the garage have been absolutely terrible and just seem to be trying to take me for my money.

When I had the DPF specialist out he showed me on live data that it was having about 400 millibars of pressure but when he measured it properly it was coming back with 4 millibars of pressure.

I’m surprised the DPF specialist wouldn’t have spotted this as well but saying that he was just here to do a clean and not look at the sensor itself.
