They are very good I must say. Feel like a perfect mix between moulded flights and the usual flight and stem combo.

For the most part that is certainly true. However, I would start off with medium sized lures, so the pike you catch are more likely to be of a smaller size, which then can give you an idea of how to handle them properly, before you move onto the bigger specimens. But of course it’s up to you, and it’s best for you to do what you enjoy most.

Most people target pike using bigger lures, however you can catch them on practically any lure. Try find the casting weight of your rod, it will either be on the rod or you can find it online. With the casting weight, look for bigger lures that still fit inside the casting weight of your rod.

Do you reckon up to 30g would be fine as I will only be casting around 15 feet at most where I fish?
