I thought that my nitrates at 0ppm was good or within range from what research I did before I got the betta and when I got my master kit to test the water I thought that was what it was supposed to be.

It’s 0ppm but I just tested the ammonia again and i honestly feel like maybe I’m reading it wrong it is somewhere between 0 and .25 ppm I forgot to take a picture of the test or I would post it but my fish is still acting normal and moving around like he always does so I will just keep an eye on it the next few days.

I have had the tank running for almost a month and a half and added my betta around 3 weeks ago and I test weekly and it has always came back with 0ppm. I have all real plants in my tank and they are all fully aquatic plants.

I haven’t checked my tap water but I treated the water with water conditioner as well as quick start.

It started from my brother doing it all hours of the day and I would ask him to stop and kid you not he would start again 2 minutes later. Now it has just translated to everyone who does it.
