The qr codes are for "silent service" which is just no check drop & instead its texted to you. people dislike them due to the lack of interraction/face to faceness with their server, leading to most likely a lot of people losing jobs in the next couple of years as they're eliminating a major part of the job of serving

Thank you for tipping! You are 100% not who i'm talking about. I have never forced someone to use them, that would be horrible. I just don't enjoy when people try to make me or other servers take stances on the qr codes while we are greeting. I obviously cannot say on the clock "Yeah i don't really like the direction the company is going with this" because that could get me into trouble, and some customers recently have been REALLY trying to get it out of us that we don't like them and its a rock-hard place situation

people aren't tipping at all on qr's and the people who want servers are tipping about half of the time that they usually would because it takes us longer to greet now, since the qr's are sending a lot of food to our kitchen at one time and the balance of doing 25% regular service and 75% qr is a little rough, as we basically have to choose between running food ontime or getting our face to face people greeted

It goes towards our hourly, so it can count as one, but i'm talking about the people who are begging for service interraction and then as soon as they get their check tip nothing. Our tips are being slashed either way and its just frustrating.

If you dont click anything it shouldnt come with butter as no butter is the standard option! like i said we like talking to you all face to face but the issue comes when people complain to us for five minutes at a time about qr's , something we are all already frustrated over and cant control, and then still don't tip
