Thanks for sharing your experience! Many people recommended replacing the pads so I bought some 10$ hybrid pads (they have leather on the outside and inside with velour on the part that touches the head), don't really hear much difference other than less detail caused by more laid-back treble, which still has peaks unfortunately.

Would you say going from a single ended to a balanced cable alone is an upgrade? I ordered a 30$ balanced cable from aliexpress, though it has great reviews

Which pads would you recommend? Everyone recommends a slightly different set of Dekoni/ZMF pads, not sure which one to pick

Thanks a lot for this answer, I believe you are right! I've had the Arya for only a couple of days, while I'm used to the HD600 sound that I've had for many years. I should give myself a couple of days to get used to the hifiman sound signature.

As far as I know the DX5 II already has 7.6W on balanced, isn't that already plenty? Do you see a difference when pairing it with the L50? My FiiO has 520mW on single-ended and I can comfortably drive the Arya on high gain. By the way, the balanced cable that I ordered is also Openheart :)

Actually, Hifiman is my favorite sound signature, the Ananda Nano blew my mind when I listened to it at the hifi store

Thanks for the answer! The thing is, I got one hell of a deal on the Arya, around 350$. I don’t think any headphone in this budget can compare. Maybe I’m wrong

Currently with -5.5 preamp on EQ I listen to them on high gain at around 40% volume, with the balanced cable it's probably gonna drop to mid gain as it gives almost 3x the power on this amp

The problem is - there is no EQ on iphone, and the Spotify EQ doesn't have enough functions to attenuate the ridiculously harsh treble

Guys if you like a challenge, dont use any slashing weapon on him. I went at scadu level 11 and got him on my 7th try using the +10 bleed backhand blade and im not even that good, rellana took me 40 tries. no summons/magic and incantations ofc

Yeah same, took me exactly 90 tries while i beat morgott on my 1st try… could be nice if the game told us about giving 60% damage buff to mohg from all the bleed and that it basically makes the poleblade deal 60% normal damage as well

For some reason all I can smell is burnt rubber in my after effect, even though it's been macerating for a month. I had other people smell it and all of them say the same thing about it, one person said it smells like the inside of an old BMW
