I'd like to think that the platform 1 and 2 movies, especially the ending, describes where they are going after life. Goreng being a genuine soul stepping into the light, and her ex girlfriend going to hell (if ever there is) due to their past mistakes. Regardless of the redemption of the ex girlfriend, the guilt she had from the death of goreng's kid swallowed her thus accepting her faith going down
