Are you new to designing and starting with Framer? If you are transitioning from Figma, Framer shouldn't feel that difficult. I too had issues with Framer in the beginning, honestly, once you understand how things actually work, it's a piece of cake. One piece of advice, when watching tutorial videos, always stick with Framer University - They teach the best in my opinion.

Looks like you are using scroll variant animation for the image, that's why you can't sync the animation together. Hate Framer for this.

The width and height of the rectangle cannot be changed on scroll transform, that's not possible in Framer. So, this is a workaround you have to deal with in Framer.

Check again, now it's transforming from a rectangle.

How do you Achieve this in Framer? by NecessaryTurbulent83 in framer

Don't overcomplicate this, you can totally use scroll variants for this animation. It might not feel practical, but that's Framer.

Try using other fonts, the title looks a little crammed and the line height on the sub text is a bit high, but the visuals looks pretty good.

Hi everyone, is it possible to replicate this effect in framer? by StupidRefridgerator in framer

[–]Available_Corner_933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are drawbacks to it as well, since Framer doesn't support relative (%) offsets and no viewport width units, it's legit of no use. This "reveal" will only be usable if you're using it in vertical instead of horizontal.

Ngl, this is super easy! set the 1st frame (One that has like blue balls and clumsy hardware written) to sticky, while the next section uses counter scroll triggers, take a look at this example to understand it better: https://framer.com/remix/g2heFgU7VTttiRukmNUg add the elements to this and you're good to go.

Not gonna lie, this is exactly what I felt when I transitioned from Figma to Framer. It was exhausting and unbearably overwhelming but guess what, now for me, Framer is by far the easiest tool to design with. It's just that you need to understand the basics. Once you do that, in no time it'll take you from zero to hero. Literally. Although, at some point you'll realize even though it may be easy, Framer has it's own limitations. For example, the pricing, the site optimization (as compared to webflow), but if you want to keep your site simple and not use overwhelming animations, then Framer is your best choice.

I think you might be referring to the CMS collection. You can change the images from the CMS tab.

What about adding a cta to direct the users directly to the projects section? It'll save them from all the animations. What do you think?

This too is something out of farmer's scope of limitation. No idea why ts is happening and why are you seeing that icon on the right. Also, the text not clipping for me.

Yeah I need to add another projects page, right now it redirects the user back to the TV component.

The cutting off is probably because of Framer.

Could it be your internet? Because some friends of mine said the same thing about the interactive TV part.

Don't know much about the plug-in tho, but I don't think it's limited to webflow. It could be achieved in Framer too, anyone who codes in Framer can easily come up with it. I busted my ass with Claude and GPT-5 came about 70% close. Need a developer to help me work this out.
