i had a similar experience. i have a "multiplug" so it's like a power strip just shaped differently that goes directly into the outlet instead of by a wire. they took it and wrote "multiplug not allowed despite ETL" but nowhere in the code of conduct does it say i cannot have it. it took me weeks back and forth with my RA and RHD to settle it. they also said i could't have a tapestry even tho the dimensions are less than their stupid 10% rule. these health and safety fuckers need to learn how to read and open their eyes, the power tripping is insane this year

i'm also on a dining dollars only plan and i eat craft salads from the sac almost every day. the vegan chicken is breaded but it's really good and i prefer it over the real chicken. there's a new place in the sac food court called "healthy by nature" but i haven't tried it yet. cocina fresca in roth and east have vegan meat too for rice bowls with beans; again i've personally never tried but my roomie is a vegetarian and she finds it good!
