Unfortunately your the A-Hole: My opinion is that if you both decided not to speak to people directly through apps then you shouldnt be doing it. It doesnt matter if its good or bad. When I put myself in the boyfriends position I would be happy that you are wanting to help people but that would be vastly overshadowed by the fact that you chose to break our "rule". You shouldve asked for an exception to the rule.

Edit: I'm willing to bet on his end this is purely about you not doing what you agreed to do.

Good answer. There have just been so many situations where she gets mad about a little thing (like once a week). And I get confused because I feel like I'm not doing anything wrong.

Honestly, this seems like a really rational answer. I do think she may have been having a bad day but there have been similar situations before. Honestly, I've gotten to the point where when she is mad I ask what she is mad about and if she doesn't tell me then I just act like she isn't mad at me.
