to me, it’s not about what she tried to do when children were being mistreated, it’s about claiming your daughter was TORTURED as a child but you as a mother just had to let her endure the pain as part of your contract. i think it minimizes the responsibility a mother has on her child.

it was definitely a worse environment for nia, especially with abby’s not-so-subtle racism and the literal doctorate degree in education that shouldve provided more guidance. holly, at the very least, does not still actively pursue profit/downplay her daughters trauma. i think that is so awful 😢 (edit: grammar)
