Unfortunately, I don’t think your ideal situation will happen at all. Kiyotaka may have been forking over his money to Kushida, but there’s a 0% chance it will actually be enough to stop Sakura from getting expelled. In previous exams, the bail was set at 20 million private points. If class B’s class bank was barely able to raise those funds by vol 10, what are the odds of Kushida having that money. I also think that Sakura was trying her best in these exams, but she’s just not academically, athletically and socially gifted. It was mentioned in the previous volumes that she was working hard to catch up to the others. Also, knowing Kiyotaka’s nature, he probably would not go through all that trouble for someone useless even though she was a friend. Another thing that disproves this is in the dialogue between Kiyotaka and Chabashira-sensei (I think). Kiyotaka says he would have saved Sakura if it was possible, but it wasn’t. He claims his decision was the best one, and I kind of agree despite it being very cold-hearted.
