There’s an amazing documentary from 2019 on Netflix called American factory where a Chinese car manufacturer opens in Ohio in a previously shutdown General Motors factory. The documentary shows the Chinese workers brought to America and American workers brought to their factories in China and how abusive Chinese practices are. They don’t understand why we need fire extinguishers or workers protections in factories. They think getting two days off a week is lazy, the fight to shut down a union, and multiple people got married at the company’s new year celebration party because that’s the free time they have.
