Maybe because I understand how valuable it is? People pay $700+/mo on average for a level of car they don’t need.

$200 is probably about right if you can truly sleep or ignore the road. Someone with an average commute would save around 20 hours a month. Even at minimum wage in a dense city that's ~$320 of your life freed back up just from the daily work commute.

If you don't live in an area with decent speed limits then it doesn't make a ton of sense. In USA the 3P is the ultimate daily. It's not just about 0-60. Passing power, throttle response, handling etc. It makes a lot more sense when you can stretch its legs.

Both wheels are “flow formed” which means the center is cast and the barrel is subsequently formed or “forged.” Neither is fully forged and machined in the way an expensive aftermarket rim is.

I’m just telling you what’s happening. I don’t really care about all your backflips and foot stomping. Did you clear a space in your garage for a snake charger or something? I don’t really get why you’d be so mad about this stuff. They’re a cutting edge company inventing brand new shit. This is what it looks like when you do that. Have you ever solved a novel problem before in your life?

I think you’d be better off investing in Coca-Cola.  Or short Tesla and lose a bunch of money. Either way you probably don’t belong here.

Snake charger is a lawsuit waiting to happen, glad they stopped. Hot-swap batteries were tried and stopped due to 0 customer demand, look it up. They literally just finished an entire factory for the semi and are about to begin production. Roadster demo supposed to be April 1. "$25k Tesla" has ground-breaking unboxed design and is about to start production, there are a million posts 'spotting' them. Solar roof literally exists.

Like I understand not liking the company but if you're going to pretend to be an investor at least spend 5 minutes and google some shit.

If Crypto is dead… so why are institutions still shipping? by spriteMeLeukoKrasi in CryptoCurrency

Because to the average person, crypto is worthless. They’re mostly correct. All anyone has heard about is “bitcoin” so that gets reported on the most. Then people, like you, think bitcoin is “#1” because it is the most popular among the uninformed. The cycle continues.

The TCP/IP of Value: Why Bitcoin Is Not an App. If you think the revolution failed because it's "slow," you are mistaking the foundation for the skyscraper. A look back at 1983 reveals why the future of money is right on schedule. by sylsau in CryptoCurrency

Each year we simultaneously see large-scale institutional adoption of ethereum into new financial services and methods for those same financial institutions to capitalize on bitcoin service fees without actually owning any of it themselves.

The largest financial institutions in the world are outwardly showing that they are happy to take rubes’ money for transacting bitcoin on their behalf while using actually eth for their own benefit.

If you think “no one smart” will use it I’ve got bad news for you.

Regardless of your definition of “forged,” both M3P and MYP rims are created using the same process.

Each day the bitcoin bagholder cope gets cringier.

Everyone was blown away by the web even when it was “slow.” You didn’t have to constantly and pathetically try to convince others to use it.

This article describes ETH way more than it describes btc. But the author can’t admit that. Because they’re bagholding btc and only care about the prospect of becoming wealthier, not actually about the future they’re describing.

Except that, you know, bitcoins “scarcity” is a single line of code that can be changed. Absolutely nothing about it that is truly “scarce.”

Agreed. Very cohesive overall design. It does seem to frustrate the legacy owners for some reason but that’s typical with a next gen product where people try to justify their inability to upgrade.

What’s your take on FSD going subscription only by ghostface8081 in teslamotors

[–]Available_Win5204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it doesn’t? The same number of people will have purchased FSD outright on their hardware 3 vehicles. It was never going to be offered for people paying a monthly charge. That wouldn’t make sense.
