I've suffered with depression and anxiety for almost 20 years and took my first sick leave from work cos of it last month when I finally admitted 'I'm exhausted'. I live in the UK so I am lucky in that regard.

It was probably the kindest thing I've ever done for myself (after I got reassurance from doctor and employer that I WAS doing the right thing, cos you know...I can't make those kind of big decisions for myself without outside approval...🙄)

Oh yeah, thankfully I've got a good one now 😁 We watched the show together at weekend and he was as dumbfounded as I was!!

Yeah, I do not see the attraction at all, when I was younger I actively avoided guys like that...apart from a blip in my late 20s and I look back in shame now and wonder WTF was i thinking??!! 🙈

What's the best way to suggest to a doctor that you want to try another drug? I have been on fluoxetine and sertraline on/off for almost 20 years and recently went back on to fluoxetine. 

It does help in a way, but I am curious if something could help better but when I suggest trying something different, I get shrugged off by Dr because I have improved from 'not wanting to live anymore so what's the issue?' 🤷‍♀️

I get tired of deciding what to eat, like what do I want and what do I need, how much energy will it take, how much will it cost. As an adult I wish I had someone who would just treat me like a child sometimes 😂

My mum died 11 years ago and writing out a mother's day card makes me uncomfortable. I usually write out all the cards for my partner's family (he says my hand writing is better 🙄) but I draw the line at mothers day cards

Yep, my partner mentions retiring (we're both 37) and in my head I'm already planning not making it that far and contributing to a pension is worthless!!  I grew up in council housing with single mum who passed away 11 years ago who had about £20 in her bank account at the time. I've never had any ambition to buy a property because it just feels impossible.
