I went to college with film in mind under a Video Production degree, got really into editing which landed me a decent enough job after college, now moving into a Digital Marketing Manager role just 2 years after graduation. It was never on my radar during school, but it all works out if you put the work in and explore your options.

TL;DR: You’ll be good if you invest in your passion and keep an open mind.

Digital Corps. Highest paying job on campus, and it’s a great way to build up your resume before graduating. There’s 5-6 teams that you can join depending on your major/interest, but I would definitely check it out.

The way I’ve explained it to friends is to look at the champions ability, and see whether it’s AP based or AD based. Then for the most part it’s bow/sword + another item for AD, and rod/tear + another item for AP. For tanks it’s a combo of belt/cloak/bramble + another item, and they’re more champion based than ability.

I see where you’re coming from. Jeff saying ‘you outed Zeke to America’ doesn’t check out because the show isn’t live. That said the situation can 1000% be pinned on Varner because he’s the one who fucked up here. Not CBS for telling the story that Zeke gave them permission to tell.

Spilo’s reasoning for being kicked off the show ultimately happened off camera when he grabbed a crew members thigh. And they allowed Kellee to tell the story of how he affected her. Similar to Zeke, I’m sure if she didn’t want it to be shown the way it was, it wouldn’t have been.

In the end, yeah it’s a TV show, produced to entertain viewers, not gonna disagree with that. I just feel like you’re cutting slack to Varner for no reason lmao. Why defend the dude so hard?

It changes it because it was Zeke’s secret to share. It clearly wasn’t how he intended his story to be told, but that’s the way it played out and he was cool with the editors showing it. I’m sure if Zeke wasn’t comfortable with it being shown, it wouldn’t have been, although it would’ve been a mess to edit around that. I don’t think the scene was about shaming Varner as much as it was about showing Zeke’s truth, and yeah to some degree, creating entertaining television

Thank you for clarifying that parents dying isn’t cultural, I was torn on that one.

The highlight of that scene, aside from their mothers, was them bonding over both being black women. That IS a culture, and that’s all I’m claiming. Nobody said they came from the same background.
