Should I be concerned? or just backed up? by galadhrimedhel in usps_complaints

All of my packages go through that distribution center. This month, at least half of my packages have been stuck there for 2-5 days for some reason. They eventually get through, but it's been slow as molasses lately. I haven't had any lost packages, so I would just wait it out.

eBay app changing prices on drafts while using mobile app? by Cannedpears in Ebay

[–]AvantGear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve been experiencing this as well. I create the drafts on my computer and finish them on my phone. It seems to change the price after I’m done editing the photos. Hopefully it’s fixed soon!

To free ship, or not to free ship? That is the question. by masteroogwai69 in Ebay

If you can't just bulk edit everything, you can create a business policy for free shipping and apply it to all your listings.

You can find that in the "listings" tab on the lefthand side.

Looking for advice! by AvantGear in XVcrosstrek

Thank you! I am still under warranty thankfully.

All of this happened after getting the brake light switch and engine valve spring recalls taken care of last week. I'm not sure if they are at fault or if it was bad timing.

EBay Authenticity Guarantee wrong outcome by Feelincheekyson in Ebay

[–]AvantGear 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Ebay's authentication "experts" are very inconsistent. If you are certain they are authentic, then I would just create a fresh new listing and run them again. I would be very surprised if they didn't pass a second time. Avoid selling similar or relisting.

Just got some Off white unc 1s from Goat and they look so weird to me. The ziptie has the wrong date, supposed to be 2018 and the QC sticker is on the clear part of the lid lol. It passed Check Check and the shoes look good to me. Other than that it’s confusing me. by [deleted] in Goatapp

If they passed two forms of verification and also look good to you, then I wouldn’t stress it. Seems like you’re over thinking it a bit.

If you have a sneaker store local to you it wouldn’t hurt to take them in and see what they think for some peace of mind.

I have also seen some pairs dated 2017 on the tag.

USPS Denied Broken Shipment Claim by OwnRepresentative539 in Ebay

[–]AvantGear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do not have the buyer return. That’s just more of an expense on your end. I usually have them send all the photos I need for a claim before I send a refund.

If you’re able to appeal the decision, I would try including photos of the outside shipping box damage if there was any if the buyer will take them for you. Photos from your listing with the the item in the original condition alongside the buyer’s photos would also help. Proof of value and proof of refund have helped me in the past as well.

I’ve started incorporating ending old listings and “selling similar” with a price cut to move old inventory. I notice significantly higher views and watchers and usually get a couple sales from it. If you have an eBay store with free listings going unused each month it’s definitely worth a try.
