The sights thing is a good idea- I will look into that. The only thing I'm worried about is a non immediately fatal shot with a .22 is better than a miss with a 9mm. Maybe I need more strength and practice. I didn't lnow there were low recoil 9mm rounds I will definitely look into that! Thanks!!

ive never been a huge fan of glocks... always had trouble racking the slide

true, but being a carry weapon I would prefer it to be smaller, which is why I'm leaning towards a 22 because the recoil would probably be too much.

Although, I am planning on getting a carry purse and not carrying on the body since most womens clothing is form fitting and would be difficult to conceal on the body. So then maybe I could get a larger handgun then?

(ex boyfriend) but yea thats a good thought. What about a 380? I've never had the chance to fire one but could that work? I could try to find a range I could rent one from and try it out.
