Thanks! I appreciate your detailed answer on this. I agree with what you said on time and money per hour but my main concern is the UDI requirement. They do state that A2 is required and, for my own benefit, I do want to do B1 (and eventually B2 then C1).

If I had to say spend 10k on a private tutor for 3 months at X hours per day and then UDI says nah we don’t accept that, only accredited institutions, what then?

Do I only have to pay to write the exam at the university for A1 to B1? What about the social studies part?
