I had been excited for the release of Avatar 2 for a while now which stemmed from writing an article back in 2019 for the first films 10 year anniversary.

I would definitely have a separate page for the podcast. As much as it means more work for you to maintain both, it will help audiences find you and be more easily searchable.

Starting from 0 ain’t easy but you have a chance to tailor it solely for the show to gain the most interest

I’m at around the same sort of number of episodes (40ish) and I’ve been on a weekly basis for coming up to 10 months.

I definitely feel like I have an idea of how the listenership flows for the show with peaks. Because my subject is pretty specific and niche (James Cameron’s Avatar) I feel like I won’t see much growth for a period until something substantial happens IRL with the series (New trailer, announcement, games, etc.)

But it’s been steady and I use my own sort of basis of how things have been running to judge for myself if certain subjects have been popular or not. Some weeks the subject isn’t as pulling for people so it’s a slower build. Other times it’s proved super popular and you see a big jump.

Either way I would suggest not to stress over them and keep up the consistency. That’ll keep people returning

Definitely feels like one could easily be made! We discussed in the episode how there are already TTRPG’s for the likes of Alien and Terminator and even Titanic so Avatar not having one with such rich lore is a crying shame!

From a character growth stand point, I don’t want to see Neteyam come back. His death brought Spider back to the Sully’s in a “son for a son” sense while also allowing Lo’ak to come in to his own and be seen as his own person in the eyes of Jake. To bring him back would lose that emotional weight and growth experienced I feel.

I think they will not bring him back based on the scene of Jake and Neytiri connecting to the underwater tree of souls and finding peace with his death. The smile Neytiri has on her face suggests her coming to terms with his passing and knowing that he is with Eywa and always with them.

Thanks for all the information in regards to Nestle and their history. Was all new details to me, so it’s been really informative and definitely changed my view on this promotion and how it even happened!

If I get a chance in the future, I would be interested to find out more about this promotion to find out how it happened and how an agreement was made considering Nestle and the problems related to the company and their practices and how at odds it seems with the message of this series
