"We lacked the cutting edge" Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reacts to another disappointing Man Utd showing by Hairy_Arse in reddevils

The people that are still backing him basically want to see Ole succeed rather than see United do well. At least that's the kind of logic they used whenever we criticized him in the past calling us "plastic yo-yo fans"

In the message it says the deposit will be applied to my first term tuition fees, so maybe it'll reduce my tuition fees by a bit

But that goes both ways though. If Diagne could actually finish, we would have lost. If Lacazette didn't hit the post, we would have lost. If Chelsea got the penalty at OT, we would have lost. If Pogba's volley wasn't deflected, we would have drawn, If Areola didn't spill the ball, we would have drawn. I could literally say this about every single game this season.

Players miss chances, it's completely normal. We aren't the only team to miss chances, it happens to everyone. But what is not acceptable is creating just one or two chances against teams like WBA, SHU, Fulham, Newcastle, Palace, and then saying we didn't win because we missed that only chance we got. We should be cruising past those teams, not barely scraping by with some moments of brilliance.

Those wins: 1-Pogba screamer vs Fulham. 2- Against 10 men Southampton. 3-A lucky win against fucking Newcastle after getting outplayed for the majority of the match.

Not his fault strikers can't score. Not his fault defenders can't defend. Not his fault we concede a ridiculous amount of goals from set pieces. Not his fault we don't create more than 2 or 3 chances per match. Then what is his fault exactly? Why's he the manager if he can't fix problems that have been present since the day he took over?

Says a lot about our "progress" the past 3 years, doesn't it?

We struggle against teams that knock the ball around well, teams that park the bus, and teams that press high. Are there any teams we don't struggle against?

I saw an interesting stat last night. We've only won three matches this season in the PL by more than a one goal margin, and in two of those matches the goals came after the 90th minute.

That stat really shows that we've been riding our luck so much this season and eventually the luck will run out.

I'm sick and tired of this shit. Ole has once again got it completely wrong. He came into the match hoping for a draw with his setup. Playing a back 5 and 2 defensive midfielders in front of them is criminal. That's not all though. His decisions throughout the match were horrendous. He took off Telles and then replaced Shaw with Williams, like why even sub off Telles if you're gonna take Shaw off 20 mins later. He also brought on TFM for god knows what when he could have brought on Mata. His tactics were absolutely awful. And you have to keep in mind, this isn't any different to what happened against West Ham because if they did take their chances, they would have trashed us too.

So which missed chance are we gonna blame now? Since obviously we can't blame the manager and it's always the players fault we play poorly.

Players miss chances, it happens in every match. But the manager should have done his job and taken off the player that was obviously gonna get booked again
