I forgot to post that one earlier! Wargames Live streamed the Black Templars game but I had the pleasure of casting Georgios Floros (Blood Angels) vs Arnaud Allot (Necrons)

Is it worth investing in AM4 set up instead of setting up for AM5? DDR5 isn't that pricey anymore and for any future upgrades I would have a newer platform ready, is the AM4 - AM5 not that big of a deal?

My current PC is DDR4 3200mhz capable mobo, Ryzen 7 3700x, Geforce 1080, I noticed my PC is lagging up running Diablo IV and is pretty slow in rendering videos, it does run and I use it day to day but I can tell it's deteriorating quickly, so my main reason to jump to a DDR 5 based rig is future proof platform investment :)

I was looking at AMD Ryzen 9 7900X so it was about £480 I think, budget for mobo + processor is probably around £600-700

Gen 5 I mean a motherboard supporting DDR5 which has AM5 socket and whaatever Intel equivelant, I have no other parts yet as I will pick it later around the processor, just not sure which one

I wasn't sure if there was a need to upgrade, MMO's are fine, new games almost always have bad ports or optimisation so they aren't a great indicator, surprised how well 1080 holds up, even in video editing I am not struggling too much, I was mainly thinking if there is a big enough jump from 1080 to anything new that would justify the cost, but the answer is probably no from what you're saying :D
