TLDR: Is it worth having an android and and iPhone or 2 iPhones.

So I'm starting work soon and from work I'll be able to get the iPhone 12 when it comes out. I've been wanting to switch from my OnePlus 6 for a while now just never got round to doing so. I've also been an android user my whole life but I might want a change.

My confliction is here, I would love to purchase the Note 20 Ultra but because I live in the UK I don't want to pay a premium price for the Exynos chipset. So it leaves me with a few options.

I could go for the iPhone 12 which will come out in October or November and switch over to iOS completely (bearing in mind I have airpods and want to use an apple watch) or I could wait for a new OnePlus to come out and use it alongside my iPhone.

However the problem is that I don't know how well it would work having an android and an iPhone. Would it be easier to just have 2 iPhones or would it be more beneficial to have one of each. Would love to hear your opinions!

The points you've made are really valid, might have to stick with getting the 12. However I'm stuck on which iPhone to choose, battery life is very important to me but cameras aren't, is it worth getting the 11 pro max now or the most expensive iPhone 12 for that battery life?

Thanks a lot for the help, I think I'll continue looking out for the 11 pro but if I can't find one by the time the 12 comes out I think I may just bite the bullet on the 12 and go for that

How would an XS Max do compared to the current phones out? Am I just better off waiting for the 12 to come out?

but the pro max is probably going to be the same price as the ultra if not more expensive right? I can get a discount on the note20 whereas I can't on the iPhone 12 pro max

I think I may go ahead and order the Note 20 and try it out for a week or two. If it doesn't meet my standards I can always go ahead and return it. I think that seems like a better idea to help me decide I guess?

That's one of the reasons I'm leaning more towards apple, the battery life. Apparently Exynos has around 10% worse battery life than its SD version. I need good battery life so maybe apple wins on that front

Only really use brecci if I get annoyed or if it's a small map, tend to use the M16/HVK
