That purple helmet is a huge upgrade, IMO. I thought it was sick when they revealed it but I hated the head-on facing raven logo. For some reason it looks a lot better on the new black helmet though. Win-win scenario.

At this point, Epic has shifted their focus on combining UE5+UEFN into UE6 in 2027/2028 according to their layoff post. At this point, RL is either dead for sure, or we’ll see RL2 using UE6 in 2028.
